2. Scope and principle
This policy applies when this website is accessed. The separate Track4Facts PRO app privacy policy describes the processing of ride, location, sensor and health data within the app.
The website is static. It has no user accounts, registration, contact form or proprietary visitor database.
3. Hosting and server logs
When the website is accessed, the web server automatically processes the connection data required for technical delivery. This may include the IP address, date and time of the request, requested file or URL, HTTP status code, amount of data transferred, referrer URL and information about the browser and operating system.
This processing is necessary to deliver the website, ensure its stability and security, and detect technical errors or misuse. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of the website.
The web-hosting provider may receive this data as a technical service provider. Server logs are retained only for as long as required for operation, security and error analysis or for compliance with legal obligations. The specific period is determined by the hosting configuration and contractual requirements.
4. No cookies or tracking
This website uses no cookies and no analytics, advertising or tracking services. No profiling or cross-device recognition takes place.
Fonts, scripts, stylesheets, images and other website assets are loaded from the website's own webspace. Merely visiting the website does not connect to external font or analytics services. The website therefore currently displays no cookie banner.
5. External links
The website contains links to the Apple App Store and other external pages. Only when you open such a link does your browser connect to the respective provider. In particular, your IP address, time, referrer and browser or device details may be transmitted. The respective provider is responsible for further processing.
Information about Apple's data processing is available at www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
6. Contact by email
If you contact the provider by email, your email address, the content of your message and any files you voluntarily attach are processed to handle your request and possible follow-up questions.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures, and otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is handling enquiries. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for this purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
7. Your rights
Where personal data is processed, you have the right, subject to the statutory requirements, to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to certain processing. Consent you have given may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular at your habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement.
8. Changes to this policy
This policy will be updated if legal requirements, hosting or the technical implementation of the website change.
